Academy History

Tri-Cities Black Belt Academy was was started in the year 1985 in the heart of downtown Pasco under the original name Traditional Taekwondo Club on the corner of 4th and Lewis.

It was later relocated across the street in 1987 on the northwest corner of 4th and Lewis under a new name; Mendoza's Taekwondo.

In 1990 Mendoza's Taekwondo relocated across the street at 514 West Lewis Street, under the new name Tri-Cities Black Belt Academy, in to a 7,000 sq. ft building equipped with specialized martial arts training equipment, where we still operate today.
